Over their previous five games, the Sabres have a 3-1-1 record, scoring an average of 3.8 goals per game and allowing an average of 2.8 goals per game. The Sabres beat the Islanders in a shootout 3-2 back on December 20th in Buffalo in their last meeting.

New York Islanders News & Notes:

The Islanders lost their last game 4-1 against the Kraken back on January 21st. In their last five games, New York has a 2-3-0 record, scoring an average of 2.4 goals per game and allowing an average of 3.2 goals per game. The Islanders will look to even the season series in their second meeting of the season Saturday afternoon.
