NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Utah Mammoth took control with a three-goal second period and never looked back in a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators.

The Mammoth (27-20-4, 58 pts) is taking on the Predators (24-23-4, 52 pts) at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, January 24.

Utah set a franchise record with a point in its ninth straight game while extending its win streak to five games.

The Mammoth hope to avoid an emotional let-down after a thrilling, come-from-behind 5-4 OT win over the Flyers to close out a seven-game homestand at 6-1.

Clayton Keller scored the equalizer with under a minute left in regulation. Captain Keller did it himself, stealing the puck near the benches before skating through and around the Philadelphia defense for a sniper shot.

Keller returned in OT, scoring the game-winner off an assist from Dylan Guenther.

Keller’s 49 points (15 G, 34 A) lead the team. Impending free agent Nick Schmaltz is hot on his heels with 46 points (18 G, 28 A), followed by Guenther’s 43 points (24 G, 19 A).

Sergachev saved a goal on the backdoor as he extended his legs out and blocked a one-timer.

Easily could be 2-0 right now.

Back-to-back sluggish starts for the Mammoth.

Nashville is doing a really good job at getting pucks in deep and then winning battles behind the net to retrieve & generate scoring chances right in front.

Meanwhile, Utah isn’t winning those battles at the other end.

— Cole Bagley (@BagleyKSLsports) January 24, 2026

Nashville back to full strength.

Second unit was so much more productive as they get pucks on net and crash.

The first unit makes pretty passes but they’re still not shooting enough. https://t.co/8Lyx4X2pDx

The final five minutes for Utah were fairly strong as they finally generated some offensive momentum on the power play.

Still, need to start winning more battles and get to the net. Too perimeter in their approach. https://t.co/eB3h07rd73

Saros with the biggest save of the game as he absolutely robbed Schmaltz on the backdoor with his left pad.

Couple tic-tac-toe passes by the Mammoth broke down the defense, but Saros anticipated the last one and kept the puck out.

Score remains 3-2.
