On top of yesterday’s top-notch performance by Mads Sögaard and the Ottawa Senators, we also had good news from Belleville this weekend as Leevi Meriläinen pitched a 40 save shutout against Springfield on Saturday. Hopefully this is the start of a successful, confidence-building, stretch of games on the farm for Leevi, whose had a rough go of it the last month. It’s high time for a redemption arc.
