Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:
The Winnipeg Jets are heading on the road for a four-game road trip, beginning against the New Jersey Devils tonight as the Jets look to get back to their winning ways and pick up some much-needed points. This is a road trip for Winnipeg that they need to gain some momentum, and they’re heading into tough buildings for teams hungry to earn points. They’ve recalled Isaak Phillips for depth on defence, but they’ve also received news that their three injured defenders won’t be back until after the Olympic break. Winnipeg is 5-3-2 in their last 10 games played.
New Jersey Devils News & Notes:
New Jersey is looking to bounce back from a 4-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken and get some much-needed points as they look to gain ground in the Metropolitan Division. The Devils are looking to move forward without Luke Hughes in the long term, as he’s out with a shoulder injury. New Jersey is looking to press the Jets into the hotseat after Scott Arniel’s comments about the team, and the Devils will certainly ride that momentum heading into tonight’s contest. New Jersey is 5-5-0 in their last 10 games played.

Players To Watch:
Winnipeg Jets
Gabriel Vilardi has been a great contributor for the Winnipeg Jets, and he’ll look to be a driving factor tonight against New Jersey as the Jets search for answers to get back in the win column.
Connor Hellebuyck is still searching for his big game this season, and it feels like the back-to-back Vezina defending goaltender and defending Hart Trophy winning goaltender will have a big chip on his shoulder.
New Jersey Devils
Jesper Bratt has been a massive factor in the Devils’ success over the years. Even if the Devils aren’t totally successful this season, Jesper Bratt is one player who has changed games for the Devils and will look to do that tonight against the Jets.
Nico Hischier has been a strong leader for New Jersey, and he’ll look to press the Jets tonight as the Devils look to get back into the win column and earn some crucial points tonight.
