The latest MIAA power rankings have been released for boys hockey, girls hockey, boys basketball and girls basketball.

The highest-ranked local team is the Tewksbury boys hockey team. The unbeaten Redmen (12-0-1) are the top-ranked Division 2 team.

Boys hockey

In Div. 1, representing the area are No. 18 Chelmsford (8-4) and No. 39 Westford Academy (0-12). In Div. 2, Tewksbury (12-0-1) is No. 1, while Billerica (6-5-2) is No. 9.

In Div. 3, the area is well represented by No. 4 Shawsheen Tech (9-2-1), No. 8 Dracut/Tyngsboro (10-1-1), No. 15 Groton-Dunstable (9-4-0), No. 32 North Middlesex (3-8-1), No. 40 Nashoba Tech/Greater Lowell Tech (7-6-1) and No. 43 Lowell (4-8-0).

In Div. 4, ranked are No. 3 Littleton (11-1-0), No. 7 Wilmington (5-6-1) and No. 19 Lunenburg/Ayer Shirley (7-3-1).

Girls hockey

In Div. 1, ranked are No. 4 Methuen/Tewksbury (11-0-0), No. 13 Billerica/Chelmsford (6-4-2), No. 26 Shawsheen Tech (8-3-0) and No. 30 Westford Academy (7-5-2).

Boys basketball

In Div. 1, ranked are No. 34 Lowell (7-6), No. 43 Chelmsford (8-6) and No. 46. Billerica (6-6). In Div. 2, Dracut (1-9) is No. 53.

In Div. 3, representing the area are No. 4 Tewksbury (9-4), No. 25 Lowell Catholic (8-3), No. 44 Shawsheen Tech (5-7), No. 47 North Middlesex (6-7) and No. 49 Wilmington (4-8). In Div. 4, ranked are No. 45 Littleton (5-7), No. 46 Tyngsboro (4-9) and No. 52 Ayer Shirley (6-6).

In Div. 5, Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (7-5) is No. 30.

Girls basketball

In Div. 1, ranked are No. 12 Billerica (9-2), No. 15 Westford Academy (8-3) and No. 35 Chelmsford (5-7). In Div. 2, Lowell (12-1) is No. 19 and Dracut (8-5) is No. 24.

In Div. 3, representing the area are No. 19 Tewksbury (6-6), No. 32 Shawsheen Tech (8-5), No. 37 Wilmington (4-9), No. 49 Groton-Dunstable (4-6), No. 55 Greater Lowell Tech (3-5) and No. 58 Lowell Catholic (3-8).
