Best NHL props for Monday 1/26/26

Morgan Geekie anytime goalscorer (+190)

The New York Rangers are quite bad, finally deciding to move in the direction of a retool with a somewhat strange public statement a couple of weeks back. Now, they’re riding a three-game losing streak and get to play a Bruins team that’s the hottest in hockey this month at 9-2-0. Boston’s 44 goals across that span rank sixth-most of any team and that should only improve with Morgan Geekie seemingly regaining his swagger. The 27-year-old forward has 28 goals on the campaign and shook off a 12-game scoreless streak with three goals across his last three contests, including a double-goal outing in his last appearance. Sometimes it helps to just see one go in, so his confidence should be back to normal as one of the league’s premier shooting threats. Against a hapless defense allowing over 32 shots per game this month, the Bruins should have plenty of chances to net a couple goals with Geekie at the forefront of that attack.

Cutter Gauthier 1+ points (-130)

Watch out, here come the Mighty Ducks! Anaheim holds possession of the NHL’s longest winning streak with seven consecutive victories, fueling a surge back into the top three spots in the Pacific Division. Just one point behind the Oilers, they’ll look to swap spots in the standings with tonight’s matchup if they can make it eight straight dubs. Following his own little cold stretch, Cutter Gauthier has begun to find his stride once more with at least a point in four consecutive games, notching six overall in that sample with three goals and three assists. As one of the leading men for this Anaheim team, the 22-year-old paces the roster with 46 points and leads the group with 23 goals as well. The Oilers allow 3.17 GA/GP and gave up 11 combined goals over their last two games. With questions about their goaltending still lingering even with Tristan Jarry back in net after an injury-related absence, the Ducks and Gauthier can make a statement tonight. If they do, the young star is likely to extend his point streak.
