The Buffalo Sabres winning ways continued last night as they extended thier winning streak to 4 games by beating the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-4.

It was a good night for Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin. He ended the night with 5 points, after scoring his first career hat trick and adding two assists.
The Buffalo Sabres Are In The Playoff Race
It has been a long time since the Buffalo Sabres have made the playoffs, but it looks like this might be the season they end the drought. With the win over Toronto, the Sabres now have 65 points in 57 games. They are currently in 3rd place in the Atlantic Division, and if the season ended today, they would be a top-three team in the Eastern Conference.

The Sabres are currently ahead of Montreal and Boston, who are both in wildcard playoff spots. The Sabres are 6 points ahead of the next team fighting for one of those spots, the Florida Panthers.

It seems that when Sabres owner Terry Pegula focused on working with the Buffalo Bills, the Sabres got better and the Bills took a turn for the worse. Now that the Bills have a new head coach, let’s hope Pegula doesn’t return and focus on the Sabres.
