The future present is so teal.

The Sharks have set another franchise record amid a 2025-26 NHL season when they have blown seemingly every expectation out of the water.

Despite giving up an early goal on Tuesday in Vancouver, San Jose responded by scoring three unanswered goals in just over four minutes to take a 3-1 lead over the Canucks at Rogers Arena.

Needing only five minutes and 55 seconds, the Sharks eclipsed their previous franchise record for fastest three goals to start a game — by just one second.

Tyler Toffoli adds on to the lead with his 15th goal of the season, now 3-1 #SJSharks just 5:55 into the contest. It’s the fastest three goals from the start of a game in Sharks history, beating the previous fastest (March 29, 1994) by one second.

Vancouver native Macklin Celebrini opened the scoring off a pinpoint assist by Will Smith, then the 19-year-old superstar intercepted a pass to set up the second goal via Adam Gaudette — a former Canuck — soon after. Finally, Tyler Toffoli — another ex-Canuck — made it three in the first six minutes, swiftly knocking Vancouver starting goalie Kevin Lankinen out of the game.

Talk about a quick, deadly shark bite.
