The Florida Panthers (28-21-3) are back on the road for a one-off against the struggling St. Louis Blues (19-25-9) tonight at Enterprise Center.

After a sweeping a three-game road trip, the Panthers returned home and were beaten 4-3 by former backup goalie Vitek Vanecek and the Utah Mammoth on Tuesday. Sandis Vilmanis scored his first NHL goal; Cole Schwindt lit the lamp; and Carter Verhaeghe’s late marker extended his point streak to three games. Sergei Bobrovsky took the loss, stopping 16 of 19 shots faced. The Cats are six points out of a playoff spot.

The Blues enter the tilt on a five-game (0-4-1) winless streak. St. Louis dropped a 4-3 decision to the Dallas Stars on home ice on Tuesday when Thomas Harley scored with a 1:07 left in regulation. Brayden Schenn potted two goals and Robby Fabbri also tallied in the third as the Blues overcame a three-goal deficit before falling due to Harley’s heroics.
