The Tampa Bay Lightning (34-14-4) defeated the Winnipeg Jets (21-25-7) 4-1 on Thursday night at Benchmark International Arena. The Lightning are now 16-1-1 in their last eighteen games (including two in a row), and have won seven straight at home.

The Lightning got the scoring started with a goal at the 14:58 mark of the first period. Darren Raddysh scored 1:37 into the second period to make it 2-0 – he would finish the game with a goal and two assists. The Jets scored to pull within 2-1 at the 12:25 mark, but Yanni Gourde scored at the 15:17 mark to make it 3-1.

Nikita Kucherov added an empty netter that would make it a 4-1 final score. Andrei Vasilevskiy got the win in net, saving 22 of the 23 shots he faced on the night.

The Lightning are next in action when they host the Boston Bruins in the first home Outdoor Game in franchise history. Puck drop between the Lightning and Bruins is scheduled for 6:30 PM on Sunday night at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
