St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas had what the team described as a minor procedure on his leg and will be out until after the Olympic break, it was announced Saturday evening.
The Blues resume their post-Olympic schedule on Feb. 26 against the Seattle Kraken.
The 26-year-old Thomas has been out since Jan. 10 with a lower-body injury and was placed on the injured reserve list on Jan. 15.
A native of Aurora, Ont., Thomas has 11 goals and 22 assists for a team-leading 33 points in 42 games so far this season in 18:58 of ice time per game.
Thomas is an eight-year NHL veteran and has 118 goals and 429 points in 508 regular-season games. He won a Stanley Cup with the Blues during his rookie season in 2018-19.
