It is to be noted that the Toronto Maple Leafs traded away the forward Fraser Minten in 2025. As reported by the NHL, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced on March 7 that the team has acquired forward Fraser Minten, a 2026 first-round draft pick (top five protected), and a 2025 fourth-round draft pick (from Philadelphia) from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for defenseman Brandon Carlo, retaining 15 percent of Carlo’s salary.Earlier, Minten appeared in 15 games with Toronto, scoring approximately two goals and two assists for a total of four points. Minten has also played in 26 games with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) this season, tallying six goals and seven assists for 13 points.

He was also originally selected by Boston in the second round (37th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.In 2026, the forward averaged one point per game with four multi-point performances and opened the month with a two-goal showing in Boston’s 3-2 victory in Vancouver on Jan. 3, including the game-winner in overtime. Moreover, he added a three-point game (2G, 1A) in the team’s 10-2 win over the New York Rangers held at TD Garden on January 10, 2026. In addition to this, Minten managed to close out the month with a three-point performance on January 29 against Philadelphia, becoming the first Bruins rookie to produce multiple three‑point games in a calendar month since 2018 (Jake DeBrusk).
