The Minnesota Wild held morning skate on Monday at TRIA Rink in St. Paul. Following the skate, head coach John Hynes and center Nico Sturm spoke with KSTP Sports.

Hynes spoke about lineup changes, goaltender Jesper Wallstedt, Canadiens right wing Cole Caufield, the penalty kill, importance of goals being scored from numerous players, how nice it is to be at home, if the chatter between Olympians on the Wild’s roster has begun, defending Montreal, how much of his family is going with him to the Olympics, his plans for the Wild while he is at the Olympics, the challenge of juggling the Wild and the Olympics, and when he started dreaming of becoming an Olympics coach.

Sturm discussed the challenges Montreal presents, if he is starting to think about the Olympics, how special the Olympics are, and playing against Wild teammates in the Olympics.
