Best NHL prop bets for Tuesday 2/2/26

Conor Bedard 4+ shots on goal (+130)

Tonight’s game between the Sharks and Blackhawks should be one of the biggest of the evening, and for good reason at that. While Chicago’s on a five-game losing streak, it does have former No. 1 pick Conor Bedard at the forefront as its young superstar. He’ll duel a fellow No. 1 pick in Macklin Celebrini, pitting some of the NHL’s most exciting youth against each other.

Bedard is who we’ll focus on here. The 20-year-old missed a few weeks with injury earlier this season but has 52 points in his 42 appearances, notching 22 goals with 30 assists to get to that mark. While he went through a three-game scoreless streak between January 22-25, he’s back in the saddle and has four points over his last three games, including goals in back-to-back outings. Averaging 3.36 shots per game, Bedard paces the Blackhawks’ roster with 141 total shots on the season (23 more than the next-closest skater) despite missing 13 games. He’s an elite young talent and should see the chance to rack up attempts tonight against a pretty poor Sharks defense. San Jose gives up 30.7 shots per game, second-most of any team in the league.

If anytime goalscorer props are your thing, Bedard is a solid play in that regard as well at +150 odds. The opposing side also gives up 3.43 goals per contest as well.

Filip Gustavsson over 23.5 saves (-120)

Canadiens vs. Wild has all the makings of a classic contest this evening, pitting a couple of likely Cup contenders against each other. Montreal has now won three straight, including a standout victory over the Avalanche, while Minnesota comes off three consecutive wins as well. With momentum and stars on both sides of this matchup, there should be plenty of pressure.

Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson has played well this season, logging a 2.57 GAA and .910 SV% across 34 appearances. Those numbers are down some from his career-high marks, but he remains one of the NHL’s best netminders and has largely overperformed given how his team plays defense. Minnesota actually allows 30.1 shot attempts per game, good for sixth-most in the league. While Montreal doesn’t exactly pressure the net at a high rate, the visitors have plenty of playmakers and the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook have the total set at 6.5 combined goals. Given that this could be a back-and-forth game between top teams, Gustavsson can easily exceed the over on his line of 23.5 saves for the fifth straight game.
