Tampa, Fla. – In front of a roaring crowd of 64,617 under the Florida night sky, the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Boston Bruins 6-5 in an overtime shoot-out to close out a dramatic 2026 NHL Stadium Series matchup at Raymond James Stadium. The outdoor spectacle lived up to its billing, blending spectacle, skill, and relentless intensity as the Atlantic Division rivals battled on a custom-built rink in the home of the NFL’s Buccaneers. The win capped a memorable night not only for the Lightning but also for hockey fans across the region. The NHL’s second-ever outdoor game in Florida proved that open-air hockey could thrive even in the Sunshine State.
