An ice hockey fan who was getting kicked out of a game on Tuesday, February 3, made sure to get a few punches in before she left the arena.
Footage taken by Nick Hirshon shows a woman wearing a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey and hat at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, being escorted out of a game between the Penguins and the New York Islanders on Tuesday.
As the woman starts to walk up the stairs, a fan appears to start shouting at her. She then turns to give them the finger, and as she gets close, she starts to punch the other person, the video shows.
Security personnel then grabbed the woman, separating her from the spectator, and led her and another Penguins fan with her up the stairs.
Alongside another video posted on X showing the same incident, someone wrote: “First time I ever saw someone in a penguin hat punch someone.”
