The Detroit Red Wings finish up their road trip on Wednesday night, as they look to head into the Olympic break on a high note when they take on the Utah Mammoth.

Wednesday is the second-to-last night of NHL action before the league goes on a near-three-week break from play. Defenseman Moritz Seider (Germany), forward Lucas Raymond (Sweden) and captain Dylan Larkin (United States) are set to don the winged-wheel one more time before jetting off to Milan to represent their countries.

The Red Wings are hoping to end this portion of the season with a bang. They are coming off a big 2-0 road victory over the Colorado Avalanche, just a couple of days removed from being embarrassed on home ice by their longtime rivals.

The win over the best team in the NHL has reinstilled confidence in the group, snapping a three-game losing streak. Detroit remains second in the Atlantic Division, two points back of the Tampa Bay Lightning for first.

The Wings now face a Mammoth team that is striving to stay in the running for a playoff spot. With wins in seven of its past 10 games, Utah is fourth in the Central Division, holding onto the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.
