Penguins forward prospect Tanner Howe scored his first pro goal in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s 4-1 win over the Hershey Bears on Wednesday. It was only Howe’s second game after returning from his ACL surgery in April, and after picking up an assist in his debut, he now has points in both games to start his pro career.
• Aaron Huglen scored his third goal of the year, Avery Hayes scored his 13th, and Aidan McDonough scored his 10th.
• Sergei Murashov stopped 30 of 31 shots. He’s 17-5 at the AHL level this season with a .926 save percentage and a 2.07 goals-against average.
