It is officially the start of vacation for the majority of the Canadiens’ players, and let’s just say some of them aren’t wasting any time.
A nice photo started circulating on social media this morning, sparking plenty of positive reactions from fans.
In it, we catch a glimpse of young Ivan Demidov, all smiles, over at the airport.
Demidov took the time to take photos with fans — a small gesture that’s always great to see.
The destination is confirmed: the young forward is heading to Florida to enjoy the Olympic break.
Let’s be honest, it’s probably the best decision he could make to fully disconnect.
It’s easy to forget, because he handles it so well, but a first season in North America is demanding for a young man, both on the ice and off it.
A well-deserved rest for Ivan Demidov
Going to enjoy the sun and forgetting about hockey for a few days is essential to recharge the batteries.
With the condensed schedule the team has just gone through, this trip comes at the perfect time and will certainly help him finish the season strong.
It’s great to see how well he’s integrating into the North American lifestyle and taking advantage of its perks.
Enjoy your vacation, Ivan!
