Mitchell Lambert recorded his first career hat trick and Beckett Olsen earned his second straight shut out as Greely posted a 4-0 win over Brunswick/Freeport in a boys hockey game Saturday at Family Ice Center in Falmouth.
Lambert also set up a goal by Lincoln Welles. Jack Noone assisted on all three of Lambert’s goals.
Olsen finished with 16 saves. Ryan Livesay stopped 44 shots for Brunswick/Freeport.
THORNTON ACADEMY 11, PLOG 0: Owen Dorsey’s hat track helped propel the Golden Trojans (14-1) past Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill/Gray-New Gloucester (8-5-1) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Brennan Tabor netted two goals and set up three, while Trent Lesieur also scored twice. Corbin Poussard and Max Siebert each had and goal and an assist. Grady Hersey and Trevor Baillargeon were the other goal scorers.
Cole Fernald made eight stops for the shutout. Reid Trepaney, Logan Rousseau and Taylor Brann combined to make 49 saves for the Kings.
