Good evening, Buffalo. We’re wrapping up the day for you with the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.

Your Weather Planner

An arctic front is working across the region. This front is first bringing us some snow followed by another arctic blast of air.

Temperatures will be plummeting down to near and below zero by morning. Along with these frigid temperatures, the winds will start to pick up.

We could have gusts around 35-40+ mph. These winds will knock the wind chill values down to 20 to nearly 30 below in spots by Saturday morning.

Temperatures will struggle to recover through the afternoon. Highs on Saturday will only reach single digits. Wind chill values will be around 10 to 20 below through the afternoon.

This arctic chill will continue into Sunday. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy on Sunday. Afternoon highs will only reach the low 10s.

Monday morning will be cold again before temperatures start to improve slightly.
