When will Predators' Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi play in Olympics?

With the Nashville Predators on their Olympic break, four players are gearing up to represent their home countries in Milano Cortina.

Roman Josi (Switzerland), Filip Forsberg (Sweden), Juuse Saros (Finland), and Erik Haula (Finland) will begin their Olympic journeys with the men’s hockey preliminary round on Feb. 11.

Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland are three of the 12 teams participating in the Olympics in 2026. The others include Canada, United States, Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Czechia, Italy, France, and Denmark.

This is the first time since 2014 that NHL players have been cleared to participate in the Olympics.

When will Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi, Juuse Saros play in the Olympics?

Each team plays three games in the preliminary round before the playoff round begins on Feb. 17. The gold medal game is scheduled for Feb. 22.

Here’s when Switzerland, Sweden, and Finland play in the preliminary round. All games are on NBC’s Olympics coverage, which can also be streamed on Peacock.

Feb. 11 – Finland vs Slovakia (9:40 a.m. CT)

Feb. 11 – Sweden vs Italy (2:10 p.m. CT)

Feb. 12 – Switzerland vs France (5:10 a.m. CT)

Feb. 13 – Finland vs Sweden (5:10 a.m. CT)

Feb. 13 – Switzerland vs Canada (2:10 p.m. CT)

Feb. 14 – Sweden vs Slovakia (5:10 a.m. CT)

Feb. 14 – Finland vs Italy (9:40 a.m. CT)

Feb. 15 – Switzerland vs Czechia (5:10 a.m. CT)

When will Team USA play in the Olympics?

The U.S. Olympic hockey team is looking for its first medal since 2010, when they took home the silver medal in Vancouver. The U.S. team has won 11 medals in men’s hockey, including two gold medals (1960, 1980).

Here’s when the U.S. hockey team plays in the preliminary round.

Feb. 12 – United States vs Latvia (2:10 p.m. CT)

Feb. 14 – United States vs Denmark (2:10 p.m. CT)

Feb. 15 – United States vs German (2:10 p.m. CT)
