We started with a passing snow shower with temperatures mostly in the 20s. We’ll see highs well into the 30s on this afternon maybe even the low 40s along with a mix to spotty sleet or a rain shower is possible through this afternoon, gray skies. While we are trending less cold, it turns breezy today with the light, intermittent precipitation and plenty of clouds. 

Next up would be lake-effect snow tonight and for Wednesday. We may pick up several inches of snow south of Buffalo through tomorrow night along with brisk winds and a seasonably cold feel.

Temperatures will remain close to average the rest of the week with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s with mainly tranquil weather to round out the school week.

But then, Giardino opted not to join the ticket.
