Week 18 of the Prospect Tracker was a whirlwind. Liam Greentree was traded to the Rangers as part of the package for Artemi Panarin, ending his time as LA’s top forward prospect. Henry Brzustewicz’s point streak ended at 11 games—while Jared Woolley earned second-star honors against his former team, London. Hampton Slukynsky was named NCHC Goaltender of the Month for January, and Carter George delivered two shutouts and an assist. Ryan Conmy turned in a career-high four-assist performance in Boston College’s Beanpot Championship victory, helping lead the Eagles to their first title in a decade. Not every prospect had a banner week, but the ones making noise are really making noise right now. The following reports cover games played through the end of day Tuesday, February 10th.

Ontario Hockey League (OHL)

Henry Brzustewicz, London Knights, RH Defenseman (31st overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 15 goals, 21 assists, minus-15, 47 PIM in 43 games played

Brzustewicz’s point streak has ended after an impressive 11 games. He tallied four goals and 12 assists over that span while unleashing 51 shots on goal. The first-round pick recorded four assists this week, including two in Friday’s dramatic 5-4 overtime comeback victory against Niagara. With London trailing 4-1, Brzustewicz helped fuel the rally and delivered the game-tying assist on the power play, spotting his teammate in front of the net and feeding him a tape-to-tape pass. He added an assist in a 4-3 overtime loss to Jared Woolley’s new team, Kitchener, before recording another helper in a 5-3 win over Sarnia. His streak came to an end in the second meeting with Kitchener, a 5-2 loss, as London posted a 2-1-1 record on the week. Averaging over four and a half shots per game during his streak, the mobile rearguard continues to play with an aggressive, shot-first mentality that’s made him one of the OHL’s most productive defensemen.

Jan Chovan, Sudbury Wolves, Center/Right Wing (184th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 15 goals, 20 assists, minus-28, 6 PIM in 44 games played

Chovan tallied two points, as Sudbury posted a 1-2-0 record this week. The sixth-round pick scored a power-play goal in Saturday’s 4-1 loss to Peterborough before delivering the game-winning secondary assist in Sunday’s 4-3 overtime victory against Oshawa. Chovan found the trailing forward on a 3-on-2 rush, kicking off a tic-tac-toe sequence that ended with the overtime winner. The Slovakian forward now ranks second on the team in points, goals, and assists while leading the Wolves with 11 power-play goals. He only won 44% of his faceoffs over those three games—down from an impressive 66% last week—but contributed when it mattered most, helping Sudbury snag their only win of the week.

Carter George, Soo Greyhounds, Goalie (57th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 2.65 GAA, .910 SV%, 4 SO, 1 goal, 2 assists, 17 wins in 33 games played

George delivered a dominant 37-save shutout in Wednesday’s 6-0 rout of Saginaw before the Soo were routed by Flint on Friday, 5-1, with the second-round pick stopping 20 of 24 shots. He bounced back to earn first-star honors on Sunday against Windsor, stopping 36 of 38 shots while recording his second assist of the season on an empty-net goal. Three of George’s four shutouts this season have come in the last month, and he now ranks in the top 10 among OHL goalies in both goals-against average and save percentage. With his outstanding play since arriving from Owen Sound, George has made the Soo a legitimate contender for the OHL playoffs and a Memorial Cup run.

Liam Greentree, Windsor Spitfires, Right Wing (26th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 24 goals, 24 assists, plus-11, 46 PIM in 37 games played

The Kings traded Greentree to the New York Rangers this week as part of the package for Artemi Panarin, ending his time with the organization. The 2024 first-round pick was LA’s top forward prospect and leaves the system having put together an impressive resume: a 119-point campaign last season, a World Junior Championship bronze medal with Team Canada, and a point-per-game pace this year as Windsor’s captain. Greentree brought a combination of size, skill, and hockey IQ that made him one of the most exciting prospects in the pipeline. He could make his NHL debut with the Rangers as early as next season. He has the tools to become an impact player at the pro level and we wish him nothing but the best in New York.

Jimmy Lombardi, Flint Firebirds, Center (125th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 29 goals, 28 assists, plus-27, 50 PIM in 50 games played

Lombardi tallied a goal and three assists during a perfect 3-0-0 week for Flint. The first-line center found space in front of the net for a tap-in, scoring the game-winning goal against Erie. He also had helpers in victories over Sarnia (6-3) and Sault Ste. Marie (5-1). Playing at a point-per-game pace through 50 games, Lombardi ranks in the top 10 in the OHL in both goals and points. The alternate captain has been everything the Firebirds could have hoped for and more, as he helped Flint clinch a playoff spot with the win against the Soo.

Jared Woolley, Kitchener Rangers, LH Defenseman (164th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 11 goals, 19 assists, plus-19, 54 PIM in 51 games played

Woolley snapped an eight-game pointless streak with a strong week as Kitchener posted a 3-1-0 record. The sixth-round pick earned second-star honors in Wednesday’s 4-3 overtime victory against his former team London. He recorded a power-play primary assist while going head-to-head with former defensive partner and fellow Kings prospect Henry Brzustewicz, who also tallied a PP primary assist in the contest. Woolley added another helper in Friday’s 6-2 win over Guelph before going pointless in Sunday’s 5-2 victory over London in the second revenge game of the week. Now with three points in his last seven games, the physical defenseman is contributing again and helping Kitchener push toward the playoffs after clinching a postseason spot this week.

Western Hockey League (WHL)

Vojtech Cihar, Kelowna Rockets, Forward (59th overall in 2025)

2025-26 WHL Stats: 1 goal, 9 assists, minus-3, 6 PIM in 14 games played

Cihar tallied one assist this week, as Kelowna posted a 1-1-1 record. The second-round pick went pointless in Tuesday’s 4-3 overtime loss to Portland before Kelowna split a back-to-back with Prince George, winning 3-2 on Friday and losing 4-1 on Saturday. Cihar recorded his lone helper on Kelowna’s only goal in the Saturday loss. After his explosive four-point night last week, the World Junior Championship MVP is playing at a 0.71 point-per-game pace with 10 points in 14 games and 25 shots on goal. The offensive instincts are clearly there—even in quiet weeks.

Will Sharpe, Vancouver Giants, LH Defenseman (216th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 18 assists, minus-8, 26 PIM in 43 games played

Sharpe recorded a primary assist on the game-winning goal in Friday’s 3-1 victory over Spokane before Vancouver was shut out 5-0 by Kamloops on Saturday. The left-shot blueliner continues to log first-pairing minutes with the Giants, playing at just shy of a half-point-per-game pace after being elevated from second-pairing deployment in Kelowna.

COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)

Ryan Conmy, Boston College, Right Wing (182nd overall in 2023)

2025-26 Stats: 8 goals, 11 assists, plus-3, 8 PIM in 25 games played

Some players perform best on the biggest stages, and Conmy just added himself to that list. The 2023 sixth-round pick recorded a career-high four assists in Monday’s 6-2 Beanpot Championship victory over Boston University, as Boston College captured their first tournament title in a decade. It was also the 300th meeting in the legendary Battle of Comm. Ave (the local name for BC-BU’s rivalry due to both campuses being located just off Commonwealth Ave.).

Conmy slipped past two defenders on a zone entry and fed his teammate net-front to put BC on the board, then added a pass to the point that set up the game-winning goal. His third assist came when he fired a one-timer from down low that his teammate put away on the rebound, and he capped the night with another helper to the point. In a fun trivia note, Conmy recorded three assists in his first-ever college hockey game back in October 2023, a game against BU. This week, he topped that performance as part of college hockey’s most storied in-season tournament. A special night for a special player.

Kristian Epperson, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (88th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 9 goals, 7 assists, plus-3, 14 PIM in 31 games played

Epperson scored the opening goal in the second game of a back-to-back against rival Colorado College, burying the puck during a net-front scramble to spark Denver’s 4-1 victory on Saturday. The third-round pick fired seven shots on goal over the two contests. DU held at eighth in the national rankings this week and second place in the NCHC—just two points behind North Dakota.

Caeden Herrington, Univ. of Vermont, RH Defenseman (120th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 1 goal, 5 assists, minus-12, 12 PIM in 26 games played

Herrington broke an 11-game pointless streak on Friday with a power-play assist against Boston College. Vermont toppled the 14th-ranked team in the nation with a 6-1 victory, but lost 6-1 the next night to seventh-ranked Providence. Herrington is averaging 18 minutes of ice time per game and just shy of two shots per game. The fourth-round pick is generating chances consistently—despite not finishing on them—and breaking the drought should help build confidence.

Brendan McMorrow, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (196th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 5 assists, plus-6, 4 PIM in 17 games played

The finger injury McMorrow sustained blocking a shot at the World Junior Championship has kept him out for over a month now. With no return timeline in sight, Denver remains without the winger’s energy and tenacity.

James Reeder, Univ. of Denver, Right Wing (198th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 6 goals, 15 assists, plus-6, 4 PIM in 31 games played

Reeder tallied an assist in each of Denver’s two games against Colorado College, his first coming on the lone score in Friday’s 1-1 tie and the second on the insurance goal in Saturday’s 4-1 victory. On his second assist of the weekend, Reeder entered the zone on the near side and took a hit from the defenseman while chipping the puck to his teammate in the slot, creating a 1-on-1 chance against the goalie. The sophomore winger now has 15 assists in 31 games and is averaging the most ice time of any DU forward, a testament to the trust David Carle—who just coached in his 300th game as head coach—has placed in the seventh-round pick’s reliable two-way game.

Hampton Slukynsky, Western Michigan Univ., Goalie (118th overall in 2023)

2025-26 Stats: 2.40 GAA, .910 SV%, 3 SO, 2 assists, 20 wins in 28 games played

Slukynsky was named the NCHC’s Goaltender of the Month for January after recording seven wins, 241 saves, and back-to-back shutouts against Notre Dame. Over the weekend, Western Michigan faced unranked Miami in a back-to-back set, dropping the first game 3-2 in overtime before battling back to win 3-1 on Saturday. Slukynsky made 28 saves in the victory, with Miami’s lone goal coming shorthanded on an odd-man rush. WMU held at fourth in the national rankings this week and now sits at 20-8-6—with Slukynsky in net for every single win. LA’s top goalie prospect continues his Hobey Baker Award-nominated campaign as one of the most reliable netminders in college hockey.

Jack Sparkes, Clarkson Univ., RH Defenseman (180th overall in 2022)

2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 2 assists, minus-1, 26 PIM in 29 games played

On Friday, Sparkes saw his lowest ice time of the season at 2:58 in a 4-3 loss to RPI. He persevered despite the discouraging sign and came back the next night to notch his second assist of the season in an 8-7 overtime victory against Union. The resilience required to produce after being benched displays mental fortitude that bodes well for the 6-foot-8 defenseman going forward. Staying ready and responding when called upon has defined Sparkes’ reality this season, and he showed exactly that this weekend.

EUROPEAN LEAGUES

Petteri Rimpinen, Liiga-Kiekko-Espoo, Goalie (152nd overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 2.74 GAA, .896 SV%, 1 SO, 9 wins in 26 games played

For the second week in a row, Rimpinen started in Kiekko-Espoo’s lone game to help secure a win. This time it was against first-place Tappara, and the Finnish netminder made 28 saves, posting a .903 save percentage in the 4-3 victory. The win against Tappara shows the team is able to compete with the best of the best, and Rimpinen is a large part of their success. Kiekko-Espoo ranks 10th overall in Liiga and will need to finish in 12th place or higher to make the playoffs. With the fifth-round pick delivering strong performances down the stretch, they’re positioning themselves to make a postseason push.
