The final 2026 Olympic debut game featuring Los Angeles Kings players late this week in Group A will feature defenseman Drew Doughty and goalie Darcy Kuemper for Team Canada in their opener vs. Team Czechia on Thursday (Feb. 12).

This matchup between Team Canada and Czechia in the first full day of action in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Group A round robin play on Feb. 12 comes after three other Kings players made their Olympics debut earlier this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Joel Armia and Adrian Kempe both registered assists yesterday for Team Finland and Team Sweden, respectively, on Feb. 12.

In the active roster lineup today, it’s pretty unlikely looking that Kuemper will start for Team Canada this upcoming week in the Winter Olympics. Doughty is set to be on the third defensive pairing for Canada on the blue line with Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Travis Sanheim.

Here’s a look at the TV and streaming information, game time, and location for the Winter Olympics in the first day of games in Group A between Team Canada and Team Czechia on Feb. 12.
