The 2026 Winter Olympics are in full swing, and one of the main attractions for the Milan-Cortina Games is the men’s hockey tournament. NHL players are returning to the Olympic ice for the first time in 12 years, with their last appearance coming in the 2014 Sochi Games.

With the addition of NHL players to the Olympic stage, there is some added excitement and intrigue, with some rivalries that will carry over to the world stage.

Entering the tournament, Canada is favored to win the gold medal, while the United States has the second-best odds, which could set up for an epic gold medal game to wrap up the tournament.
