And in sports news, Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Brandon Bussey signed a 3-year contract extension. Uh, Bussey has been one of the best goaltenders in the NHL this season. He’s 3rd in wins and 2nd in average goals against. It’s also a feel-good story. On top of all of that, he was acquired on waivers earlier in 2025 after playing in the AHL and ECHL since 2021. This is his first opportunity as a consistent starter in the NHL.
