Between 2003 and 2017, Blake girls hockey made eight State Tournament appearances, winning their way to the Class A Championship game all eight times – and winning state titles in seven of them.
After an eight season absence, the Bears are going to St. Paul looking to rekindle their dynasty. They return to State as the #2-seed in the Class A draw and will begin play with a State Quarterfinal on Wednesday against Mankato East.
