There’s no stopping Macklin Celebrini at the Milan Cortina Olympics.

The Sharks’ 19-year-old superstar scored a goal and added a pair of assists—including the setup on the game-winning goal—in Team Canada’s 4-3 win over Czechia in overtime Wednesday at Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena to advance to the semifinals.

Celebrini’s goal opened the scoring just over three minutes into the game.

Seconds into the extra period, Celebrini found winger Mitch Marner, who weaved through three defenders to score and send Team Canada into the semifinals.

Through four 2026 Olympic games, Celebrini has a tournament-leading five goals. He has also registered four assists.

Team Canada is slated to play for a medal this weekend.
