February was very busy at KeyBank Center in Buffalo with concerts and sports. This month, it’s all about the sports.

KeyBank Center is the home of the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bandits, but in February, we didn’t get to see much from them. The Sabres (aside from Rasmus Dahlin and Tage Thompson) were on a break as the Winter Olympics took place in Italy and the Bandits only had two home games.

However, we did get a bunch of concerts and events from monster truck shows and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham to Rascal Flatts and Eric Church. This month, however, is going to be the exact opposite. We won’t see many concerts there, but a ton of sports, including hockey, lacrosse, and college basketball!

The Buffalo Sabres

With the olympics coming to an end, Sabres fans are anxious to see if they can continue the momentum they had built in January and the beginning of February. Sabres fans are hoping to put an end to the playoff drought, and if the Sabres come back as strong as they were before they break, there’s no reason why they can’t.

The Buffalo Bandits

After starting the year at 3-1, the Bandits have struggled to be as dominant as they have in the past. They’re coming off their third consecutive championship and are currently sitting at 4-6 with a game this Saturday to finish off February.

College Basketball

This month is exciting for college basketball fans as the NCAA tournament rolls through Buffalo again. Some of the NBA’s biggest future stars could be playing right here in the Queen City. While it’s only two dates, it will be an exciting weekend in Buffalo when they’re here.
