A thrilling victory took at the Milan Cortina Games Sunday took the hockey world by surprise, with Team USA men’s ice hockey team breaking a 46-year gold medal drought by upsetting Canada with a 2-1 overtime win.
It was an exciting day for many people at Sharks Ice in San Jose, where so many fans watched the ending to the men’s hockey team’s gold medal victory.
However, some Bay Area hockey fans said it was hard not to root for Sharks superstar Macklin Celebrini even though he was playing for Canada.
