Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:
The Winnipeg Jets are returning from the 2026 Winter Olympic break with a slew of injuries to their roster. Josh Morrissey is out due to injury, and he joins Neal Pionk, who is week-to-week with a new injury, alongside Haydn Fleury and Colin Miller, who are attempting to find their way back from injuries that occurred before the Olympics.
Winnipeg currently has Domenic DiVincentiis, Kale Clague, Walker Duehr, Ville Heinola, and Elias Salomonsson up from the Manitoba Moose.
Winnipeg is currently 3-4-3 in their last 10 games and looks to get off on the right foot in this road trip as they try to salvage their 2025-26 season.
Vancouver Canucks News & Notes:
Vancouver isn’t as busy with injuries as Winnipeg, but they are swamped by trade rumours surrounding the majority of their roster. With the trade deadline approaching, it will be interesting to see how the Canucks’ roster looks with movement being a strong possibility.
Vancouver is 2-7-1 in their last 10 games and will certainly battle to gain points as they hope to avoid last in the NHL standings.

Players To Watch:
Winnipeg Jets
Kyle Connor is the player that should be watched coming out of the Olympic break. He spent more games as a healthy scratch than he played, and he’ll have a chip on his shoulder tonight against Vancouver.
Vancouver Canucks
Elias Pettersson gets back into the swing of things with the Vancouver Canucks, and he’ll look to lead the charge offensively for his team as they search for a win.
