The Las Vegas Golden Knights are playing on the road in their return to NHL action from the Olympic break.

They head to Los Angeles to take on the Kings on Wednesday night.

Jack Eichel, the superstar center, is one of five players back to the Knights after the gold medal game on Sunday.

Noah Hanifan also played for Team USA, while the Canadian squad included Mitch Marner, Mark Stone and Shea Theodore.

That’s a lot of representation for the Knights who had to travel back from Milan, Italy and get ready for the second half.

It could impact how fast the Golden Knights start in this home stretch of the season.

Is Jack Eichel playing tonight?

Jack Eichel has already been ruled out for Wednesday night’s game.

Vegas announced that on Tuesday, as well as an out ruling for Hanifan.

They haven’t yet decided on the status of the three Canadians.

The difference is that Eichel and Hanifan were in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday night at the State of the Union.

Seemingly, the three Team Canada players had already rejoined Vegas by that point, so they’re slightly more acclimated back with the squad.

News on that trio should emerge at some point Wednesday.
