The Buffalo Sabres announced that they are going to have to change one of the start time to the games coming up.
Tage Thompson and the rest of the gold medal winning United States Men’s Hockey Team are back in the United States and what a whirlwind they have had. They won the gold medal in Italy, flew into Miami (instead of New York City because of the snow) and celebrated and partied there, then took a plane to get to the United States State of the Union Address and then will leave from there to go meet up with their NHL clubs to continue on the season.
To say it has been a whirlwind is an understatement. The guys have to be exhausted, but the NHL is going to continue. Some of the players did not go to Washington DC at all to accept the President’s invitation. Some went to the White House, but then did not go to the State of the Union in order to go home and rest before their next National Hockey Leauge Game.
Tonight, Wednesday, February 25th, it will be the Buffalo Sabres and Tage Thompson vs. Jack Hughes and the New Jersey Devils.
The Buffalo Sabres are on a quest to make the playoffs for the first time in about 15 years and they are on the way to finally break that streak. The Buffalo Sabres sent out an email letting fans know that the game coming up on March 25 will have to be changed, but just by a little bit.
The Buffalo Sabres vs. Boston Bruins game scheduled for March 25 will now begin at 7:30 p.m.Â
Why is the Buffalo Sabres game being moved a little bit on March 25?
We do not know for certain why, but that is opening day for Major League Baseball and the first game is the New York Yankees vs. San Francisco Giants at 5:05 PM, which would now give them time to get to the Sabres game.
