New York Rangers forward Will Cuylle will be receiving attention by several teams in the NHL as he is set to become a restricted free agent this summer.

Cuylle has had a great season as he had scored twenty goals along with 45 points through 82 games and gained the trust of the coaching staff as the season went along.

Several teams will be looking at Cuylle with an offer sheet

With the re emergence of the offer sheet amongst other NHL organizations, it’s safe to say Cuylle could receive one that may be a tempting offer.

One team that could use his services would be the Detroit Red Wings. General manager Steve Yzerman is continuing to move his team forward and needs scoring which Cuylle would provide.

He also brings a level of physicality which is also something the Red Wings are looking to upgrade.

The Red Wings have the draft picks and the determination to move their rebuild forward and bringing a player of his caliber would certainly do so.

The Minnesota Wild would also be a contender to landing Cuylle as the team is said to receive a huge boost when it comes to their cap space as the contracts of Ryan Suter and Zach Parise are coming off the books next year.

General manager Bill Guerin has built a great team in Minnesota but some of its core players are moving on in age and could use some young blood.

Cuylle’s style of game is exactly what Guerin is looking for and could find himself willing to send several draft picks to the Rangers in exchange to landing him.

Bruins another contender to landing Cuylle

Finally, the Boston Bruins could be another fit for Cuylle as the team now has an abundance of draft picks supplied from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Bruins will be during either a retool or a small rebuild and adding a player like Cuylle is exactly what they need as they enjoy a tough brand of hockey.

It will all come down to what the offer would be in terms of money but all these teams of the draft capital and the financials to make it work.

It will all come down to what general manager Chris Drury and his staff want to do but it’s safe to say that he will do everything he can to keep his young player.
