Chicago Hockey Now: The Blackhawks held one final practice on Wednesday before their schedule resumed, and Teuvo Teravainen was back with the team after representing Finland at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Teuvo wasn’t the only one who was back skating with his NHL teammates again, as Wyatt Kaiser was also on the ice for the first time since getting injured on Feb. 4.

In OHL news, Marek Vanacker potted his league-leading 41st goal of the season, which proved to be the game-winner, in the Brantford Bulldogs 5-4 win over the Brampton Steelheads. Vanacker is now 13th in the OHL with 69 points on the year.
Also in OHL news, Jack Pridham stayed right on Vanacker’s tail, netting his 37th goal of the season and adding an assist in the Kitchener Rangers’ 5-4 win over the Guelph Storm. Pridham remains in second place among all OHL skaters this year in goals, four back of Vanacker. Pridham is tied for seventh in the league with 76 points.

More NHL.com: The Tampa Bay Lightning remained red hot out of the Olympics, defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 on Wednesday. They got the job done for their head coach, Jon Cooper, who wasn’t behind the bench for the game due to the passing of his father. Brayden Point tallied three points in his first game back from a lower-body injury that he suffered on Jan. 12. Nikita Kucherov also had three points.
Sportsnet: Well, well. It looks like the Vancouver Canucks are about to ship out another core veteran. Defenseman Tyler Myers sat out in Wednesday’s loss to the Winnipeg Jets, suggesting a trade is looming.
