Insider Reporting More Changes to the Front Office on the Way for the Maple Leafs

One trusted NHL Insider has shared an unconfirmed report that there are more changes coming to the Maple Leafs’ front office.
The Toronto Maple Leafs made headline news earlier this week when they announced that President Brendan Shanahan would not be back for a 12th season in the Leafs’ front office.
Shanahan, who shared an official statement following his dismissal, has since missed out on one intriguing opportunity to join the New York Islanders organization following his release in Toronto. As it turns out, though, Shanahan may not be the only member of the front office to be sent packing.
According to The Fourth Period’s David Pagnotta, the Leafs are currently pondering additional changes to the management group in Toronto, which could see more cuts in the coming days once GM Brad Treliving and MLSE CEO Keith Pelley have a chance to sit down together.
“Any additional potential management/front office changes in Toronto will come after Pelley & Treliving meet and discuss the plan moving forward. Rumblings some changes may be coming, but nothing confirmed at this time.”
