Do we need to talk about last night? Absolutely not. Starting over, the push for the playoffs/Gavin McKenna starts here and now, baby. Let’s Kraken hockey after a long Olympics break, man it was so long I can’t believe it.
Anyway the St. Louis Blues are bad.
I wish I could gin it up to talk about them in an interesting way but it seems like the Montgomery Blues are hitting this team a little harder than it would’ve been, and just about everything is going wrong; they have good prospects but they aren’t supported, their stars are injured, their defense is old, and their goaltender is a doofus.
Just could not be me.
The Kraken need to absolutely lock things down defensively because last night was an exercise in misery; if they want to play those low event games then they need to prove that they can keep the other team contained. That effort wasn’t gonna work against Dallas, so if they’re gonna try again tonight it needs to be spotless. Capitalize on power play chances, and for goodness sakes stay out of the box.
If they can do that? A win is possible.
LET’S GO KRAKEN, LET’S GO SQUIDS.
