The Bishop McCort Catholic hockey team advanced to the PIHL Penguins Cup Class 2A playoffs.
At 9 p.m. Tuesday, fifth-seeded Bishop McCort (10-9-1) travels to fourth-seeded Bethel Park (14-5-1) in a quarterfinal. Bethel Park, which ended the regular season on a five-game winning streak, beat Bishop McCort 5-2 Nov. 4 and 3-2 Dec. 9.
