(Denver, CO) — The Minnesota Wild are on a six-game winning streak following a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena. Joel Eriksson Ek scored a go-ahead goal at the end of the second period before Mats Zuccarello lit the lamp for some insurance in the third. Eriksson Ek scored twice in the victory, while Matt Boldy added a pair of empty-netters. Minnesota is in second place in the Central Division with 80 points. The Wild visit the Mammoth tonight.
