You guys go down early again, but then are able to kinda even it up and just felt like you guys are never out of it really.

Yeah, no, it’s obviously important to have that.

I think, we just have so much, you know, resiliency like that and, it’s good to have, but we also gotta get better starts ’cause we can’t, you know, play every game down like that.

It’s just not gonna, not gonna work, but obviously proud of the effort in the third.

What was it about Winnipeg that seemed to give you e- even more difficulty than Edmonton the other night?

Yeah, they’re a tough team to play.

Like, they’re physical, they’re big, you know, they make big plays, and obviously their goalie is outstanding.

So, just a tough team to play against, and I thought, you know, the third period we did a better job of kinda, just getting pucks behind them and using our speed well.

And, yeah, so they were a tough opponent.

Is, is there something that you look at in the third per– going into the third and you’re behind that you’ve been able to turn it up a little bit?

Yeah, I, I just thought we had to get our legs going a little more, I think.

we were a little, little slow in the first and second there, but we got it going end of the second.

And in the third, I thought we did a great job just getting pucks behind them and, yeah, like I said, using our legs and our speed.

Winnipeg- With these games kinda feeling like the beginning of the season, does it feel like it’s kinda restarting and finding that same groove that you had at the beginning of the year?

For sure.

I think, obviously coming off break, you wanna have a hot start.

And, the last two games I thought we did a good job.

I think it’s tough right away just to get your legs back, but everyone’s been great and we just gotta keep it going.

What’s– the way the, the games have gone recently, the first two games coming back, does it remind you a little bit of the beginning of the season where you’d get behind and come back and win those games?

Yeah, a little bit.

Yeah, like I said, you don’t wanna be doing that every game.

It’s just not gonna work.

But, you know, to have that feeling of never being out of the game and, everyone just competes so hard and, it’s just nice to have.

New rookie year, you guys had a string of comebacks in the beginning and a handful last year, but this year it s- it seems to be coming more.

How much of that is just having more firepower, and how much is maybe having a little bit more swagger in those situations now?

Yeah, for sure.

Like, like you said, we can score goals and we have so many guys who can just, put the puck in the net, so it’s obviously huge to have.

But like I said, we just don’t wanna be, you know, relying on that every game.

We gotta find a way to win games different ways.

Hellebuych’s a terrific goalie.

You were able to see firsthand over the last couple weeks just how good he is.

It felt like the common theme with all– almost all the goals tonight were to get traffic in front of the net and make him uncomfortable.

Did you guys kind of notice that a little bit?

Yeah, I think, obviously that’s how we scored.

he’s a unbelievable goalie, obviously you saw at the Olympics, and there’s no easy way around it.

I just thought we did a good job of, like you said, getting pucks to the net, and everyone was around there, and yeah, we did a great job.

All right, thank you.
