FIRST TIME CALL UP: Defenseman Booth from Ontario Reign to Los Angeles Kings

Defenseman Angus Booth has been recalled by the Los Angeles Kings from their AHL affiliate team, the Ontario Reign.

With the Kings placing Andrei Kuzmenko on injured reserve due to a knee injury on Saturday, the 21-year-old Booth was brought up to LA in a corresponding move.

In 42 games with Ontario this season, he has scored 10 points (1G, 9A) with a plus-one rating and 29 shots on goal. In his rookie season last year, he put up 13 points (2G, 11A) in 50 games with a plus-6 rating.

He’ll have a chance to make his NHL debut with the Kings in their Saturday night game against the Calgary Flames.
