With seemingly no end in sight in the dispute between Altitude TV and Comcast, it’s still a little too difficult to watch Colorado Avalanche games locally.
However, there was good news on Wednesday, as it was announced the Avalanche will be featured on National television quite a bit next season.
15 times, to be exact. Six of those games will air on ESPN, while the other nine can been seen on TNT.
In addition to those 15 games, ESPN+/Hulu will air two more Avalanche games to anyone who subscribes.
Here’s a look at what games you’ll be able to watch on ESPN:
Oct. 17 vs. Seattle Kraken
Oct. 19 vs. Chicago Blackhawks
Feb. 29 vs. Chicago Blackhawks
April 7 vs. Dallas Stars
April 9 vs. Minnesota Wild
April 18 vs. Edmonton Oilers
The two games that will air on ESPN+/Hulu are:
Feb. 6 vs. New Jersey Devils
Feb. 27 vs. Dallas Stars
As for TNT, here are the games they’ll be airing on their network, including the season opener.
Oct. 11 vs. Los Angeles Kings
Nov. 1 vs. St. Louis Blues
Nov. 7 vs. New Jersey Devils
Nov. 24 vs. Minnesota Wild
Dec. 13 vs. Buffalo Sabres
Jan. 10 vs. Vegas Golden Knights
March 6 vs. Detroit Red Wings
March 24 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
April 14 vs. Vegas Golden Knights
So yes, that’s a lot of Avalanche hockey on National TV, and good matchups, too. I find it interesting that both games against the Devils will be shown nationally. Those, in my opinion, will be “must watch” games, as both teams play an entertaining brand of hockey. Three of Colorado’s first four games will be seen Nationally,
As always, stay tuned to CHN for post-game coverage every night.
