Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:

The Winnipeg Jets are coming off back-to-back games in their short West Coast trip that went to overtime. However, the cause for concern isn’t winning one game and losing the next in overtime; it’s the injury woes that continue to pile up for the team. Vladislav Namestnikov was injured in the overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks, and per Ken Wiebe’s report of the Winnipeg Free Press, he will be out week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Winnipeg will get Haydn Fleury back into the lineup, and forward Walker Duehr draws into the Jets’ lineup for his season debut with the team. With Hellebuyck back with the Jets, Domenic DiVincentiis was sent down to the Manitoba Moose to make space on the roster.

Winnipeg is 4-3-3 in their last 10 games played and looks to end this West Coast road trip in winning fashion.

San Jose Sharks News & Notes:

San Jose is one of the top teams to watch in the 2026 NHL Trade Deadline, as they’ll for sure be active in making moves. The top candidate is Kiefer Sherwood, and the possibility of him being flipped. The Sharks are likely to add a defender as they aim to build long-term around their roster.

Right now, the Sharks aren’t facing a ton of injuries, but are going to be holding players out of the lineup should trade talks intensify over the coming days.

The Sharks are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games played and aim to continue their winning ways after snapping a four-game losing streak.
