SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Mammoth failed to get on the board in a blowout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks at the Delta Center on Sunday afternoon.

Teuvo Teravainen scored two of Chicago’s four goals, one on the power play and the second shorthanded in the third period. Utah has now dropped both games against the Blackhawks this season. Two games remain in the season series, with the next coming in about a week.

The Mammoth will hit the road to face off against Washington on Tuesday, March 3.

Great shift from the third line.

Vicious forecheck, speed, and quick puck movement.

Best O-zone possession by Utah here in the first period.

Bertuzzi to the box for hooking Keller.

Keller to the box for embellishment.

Utah back to full strength.

Great PK by Utah, especially during the 5 on 3.

Sound structure as a unit and active sticks eliminated any dangerous chances. https://t.co/5ChI0ci6Oa

Second Period

Poor turnover behind the net and Foligno beats Vejmelka low.

2-0 Chicago

Suprise shot from Slaggert finds the back of the net.

3-0 Chicago.

This is a really tough goal to give up.

Two Mammoth players attempt to retrieve along the boards; puck gets played from behind the cage right in front, nobody covers Foligno going to the net, Carcone recognizes what’s happening too late. https://t.co/po4JMZMt83
