Woody Creek Distillers and the National Hockey League’s Colorado Avalanche announced the release of Woody Creek Colorado Avalanche Bourbon presented in a collectible, officially-licensed bottle featuring the iconic Avs’ snowcapped “A” logo.
Coming off international competition in Milan-Cortina, which featured eight Avs players, the new bottle is now available exclusively on back bars and in bottle shops in Colorado and through Woody Creek’s direct-to-consumer channel at woodycreekdistillers.com.
An initial 3,000 six-bottle cases of Woody Creek Colorado Avalanche Bourbon are available for SRP $49.99/750ml bottle. The liquid, with a mash bill of 70% #2 Dent corn and 15% Elbon rye, is aged at least five years and weighs in at 45% ABV/90 proof.
“Hockey is a lifelong passion,” Woody Creek Co-founder and CEO Mary Scanlan said in a news release. “At various points in my life I’ve been a fan, a player, and even a hockey mom to two kids. The opportunity to show our support for our home team through this partnership is a privilege and an honor.”
The Avalanche currently sits atop the NHL’s Western Conference and own the league’s best record.
