ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) – The Blues are getting close to trading a longtime blueliner.
According to reports, the Blues are closing in on a trade that would send defenseman Colton Parayko to the Buffalo Sabres. Parayko has a no-trade clause and still needs to sign off on any trade, reports say.
It’s believed Parayko to Buffalo is going to happen. Things are being finalized. Player needs to approve, etc.

Parayko, 32, has been with the Blues for more than a decade and is one of the few players left from the team that won the Stanley Cup in 2019. He also played for Team Canada in the Olympics this February.
The Blues are second-to-last in the Western Conference standings and are expected to be sellers ahead of the NHL trade deadline, which is on Friday.
