ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) – The Blues are placing Mathieu Joseph on unconditional waivers with the intention of terminating his contract.
The team made the announcement Thursday afternoon. If Joseph, a forward, clears waivers after 24 hours, then he will be an unrestricted free agent.
Joseph, 29, has recorded 11 points in 39 games this season.
The Blues traded his brother, P.O. Joseph, to the Pittsburgh Penguins in December 2024.
