The Boston Bruins did not make a splash before Friday afternoon’s NHL trade deadline.
In fact, they didn’t do much of anything.
Aside from a four-player deal with the Flyers involving minor league players, and a move to acquire depth forward Lukas Reichel from the Blackhawks, the Bruins mostly stood pat at the deadline.
Maybe the Bruins will get top prospect James Hagens in the mix when Boston College’s season ends, but other than that, they’ll have to make do with the roster they have as the playoff race intensifies.
