Video Emerges Showing Mitch Marner’s Demeanor as Final Seconds Expire in Leafs’ Game 7 Loss

As the final seconds ticked down in Game 7 to end the Maple Leafs’ season, Mitch Marner was captured on video on the Leafs’ bench going through a wave of emotions.Earlier in the Leafs’ embarassing Game 7 against the Florida Panthers, Mitch Marner was seen screaming at his teammates in an attempt to trigger a comeback effort as the Leafs were down 3-0 at the time.
Unfortunately, the Leafs fell further behind and were ultimately embarrassed on home-ice. As Leafs Nation showered their team with a chorus of boos, littered the ice with jerseys and made their way out of the arena as time wound down on the Leafs’ season, a video captured Marner on the Leafs’ bench going through a roller-coaster of emotions.
His teammates and head coach Craig Berube would like him to re-sign, but more and more people believe he has played his final game for the Maple Leafs.
If that was Marner’s final moments in a Leafs jersey, he will leave Toronto as the fifth highest scoring player tallying 741 points in 657 regular season games. He’ll also sit fourth in assists with 520 and first in multi-assist games with 127.
